Can I go running after a hair transplant?
The short answer
Usually from day 28, if your clinic agrees.
Day by day
- Days 0–6Not yet
Not yet. Walking is good; running raises blood pressure and sweat in the first week.
- Days 7–13Careful
Brisk walking is fine. Save running for the third week unless your clinic says otherwise.
- Days 14–27Careful
Easy runs are usually OK. No tight headbands or caps on the grafts, and rinse sweat off gently.
- From day 28Yes
Running is usually fine now. Wear a hat in strong sun.
Not yet reviewed by a doctor — verify with your clinic.
