Early growth
Days 154–167 after a hair transplant: Approaching six months
Many people see a clear difference by month 6, though for some it takes longer. Some areas, and some people, are slower than others; slower doesn't mean nothing will grow.
What you can do now
On day 154
What's typical
- Visible new hair
- Thicker hairs mixed with fine ones
- Some patchiness
Call your clinic if you notice
- Fever, pus, a bad smell, or redness and warmth that spread.
- Little or no change anywhere: plan to use the month 6 to 9 checkpoint.
- Pain that gets worse each day instead of easing.
In the GraftKeeper app, Check a symptom walks you through what to do.
